Hail damage is no laughing matter for Michigan drivers or homeowners. Earlier this month, insurer, State Farm ranked the top 10 states with the most reported wind and hail damage losses in the U.S. Last year alone, caused by wind and hail cost State Farm an estimate $3.9 billion.
Not surprisingly, the states within the Great Plains and Midwest tend to get hit the hardest.
