While building materials for both residential and commercial properties continue to rise, homebuilders continue to fight the theft of metals such as copper, bronze, brass and aluminum.
According to a new report, the last three years have not only been a nightmare in terms of the housing crisis for builders but for the rise in theft claims as well.
Topping the list of preferred metals for sticky-fingered criminals to steal is, copper, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB).
Here is a list of the top 10 states with the most metal theft claims from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2012.
