Your path to our agency and your current role in the agency?
One day back in 2013 I saw a job posted for a receptionist at RJA. I had been a licensed agent when I was 20 but left the industry to start a family. I applied and I began my new career as a receptionist. I stayed in the position for about 3 and a half years. Then, one day I was asked again if I was interested in becoming a licensed agent, and I finally said yes. I passed the exam and moved into being a personal lines agent.
What do you like about Ron Jackson Insurance Agency?
RJA is a family-owned business and I feel like it’s my second family away from home. I basically have the best coworkers!
What do you like about being an insurance agent?
The insurance industry is always changing, so we continue to learn new things. My favorite thing to do is educate my clients on the policies they have, along with listening to individual needs to ensure they have coverage that best fits them.
Tell us about your family, home life, and what you like to do with your free time.
I was born in Plainwell, Michigan, and have lived in Michigan for most of my life. I am married, and we have two children, along with a grandson, and grandpuppy. I enjoy crafting and gardening in my spare time.
