September was Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Account Manager, Jill Misner, here at Ron Jackson Agency suggested we make MIOA our quotes for a cause recipient. This organization is comprised of 100% volunteers and 100% of donations go toward their mission statement! This got our attention! Established in 2011, the MIOCA strives to save womens’ lives by promoting the early detection of ovarian cancer and improved treatment outcomes. MIOCA raises awareness of ovarian cancer, provides resources and support to survivors and their families, advocates both locally and federally, educates Michigan communities, and funds innovative ovarian cancer research.
